Measuring 42 mm in diameter and 13.79 mm in thickness, the polished and brushed 316L stainless steel case sits in balance on the wrist with a compact lug-to-lug measurement of 47.50 mm. The polished blue ceramic ring of the unidirectional rotating bezel bears a white enamel diving scale, while its inner ring is crafted from polished grade 5 titanium. Beneath a flat sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides lies the matte black dial. The white transferred wording and the four open-worked white Arabic numerals that sign the Planet Ocean create a crisp contrast with the blue bezel. The rhodium-plated hands and indexes are filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring high legibility in deep water and in the dark.

The screw-in crown and screw-in titanium caseback bearing the Omega seahorse emblem guarantee water resistance to 60 bar, or 600 metres. Inside the case runs Omega’s automatic calibre 8912, featuring a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. Thanks to two barrels mounted in series, the movement offers a 60-hour power reserve. Its Master Chronometer certification by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, also covers magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss. The time-zone function, which allows the hour hand to be adjusted without stopping the watch, offers practical use when travelling. The polished and brushed steel bracelet, with its foldover clasp featuring a comfort setting and diver extension, ensures a secure fit in every setting.
