The Omega Speedmaster Super Racing redraws the boundaries of precision in watchmaking. As the first watch to feature Omega’s patented Spirate™ system, this model achieves an exceptional precision of 0/+2 seconds per day. The black honeycomb-pattern sandwich dial, yellow details, racing-style minute track and black ceramic bezel with a yellow Grand Feu enamel tachymeter give the watch a powerful, sporty identity. The 44.25 mm steel case and steel bracelet complete this character. The column-wheel automatic calibre 9920 offers a 60-hour power reserve and magnetic resistance of 15,000 gauss.

The Speedmaster was born in 1957 as a chronograph designed for racetracks and speed enthusiasts. The Super Racing returns to these roots, uniting the model’s sporting spirit with the most advanced technology. The Spirate™ system at the heart of the watch is a patented fine-adjustment technology developed by Omega. Thanks to this system, the Super Racing achieves a precision of 0/+2 seconds per day in METAS testing. This goes beyond even the already exceptionally high Master Chronometer standard.
Measuring 44.25 mm in diameter and 14.90 mm in thickness, the stainless steel case carries the Speedmaster’s powerful silhouette. The black ceramic bezel bears a tachymeter scale crafted in yellow Grand Feu enamel. Beneath a sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides lie the black honeycomb-pattern sandwich dial and a racing-style minute track. Diamond-polished, bevelled black arrowhead indexes filled with yellow Super-LumiNova add both depth and legibility to the dial. The yellow gradient chronograph hand, the yellow-and-black striped small-seconds hand at 9 o’clock and the yellow “Super Racing” wording reinforce the racing spirit. The 60-minute and 12-hour recorder sits at 3 o’clock, with a date window at 6 o’clock.
Through the transparent caseback, Omega’s automatic chronograph calibre 9920 with column wheel and Co-Axial escapement is on display. Offering a 60-hour power reserve from two barrels mounted in series, the movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz. Certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, the calibre resists magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and offers a time-zone function. The steel bracelet with a foldover clasp featuring a comfort setting ensures comfort in everyday wear. The black-and-yellow striped NATO strap supplied in the box quickly gives the watch a sporty look. It is a timepiece in which every detail rests on a decision, and every second on a legacy.
