A tribute to Omega’s maritime heritage, this model carries one of the ocean’s most vibrant colours onto its dial: a turquoise that deepens towards black from the centre to the edges.
Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 13.26 mm in thickness, the 316L stainless steel case carries the Aqua Terra’s elegant lines with its symmetrical form and screw-in, self-locking crown; its all-steel appearance gives the watch a classic character suited to every setting. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, the black gradient effect on the lacquered turquoise dial creates a sense of depth, while faceted grey PVD-treated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova ensure clear legibility in every condition. A grey PVD-treated logo and date window complete this harmonious composition.
At the heart of the watch beats Omega’s automatic calibre 8900, featuring a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. Certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, the movement offers a 60-hour power reserve from two barrels mounted in series, resistance to magnetic fields exceeding 15,000 gauss and a practical time-zone function thanks to an hour hand that can be adjusted without stopping the watch. The movement can be admired through the sapphire caseback. The integrated steel bracelet, uniting brushed and polished surfaces, and the butterfly clasp with comfort setting, together with water resistance to 150 metres, make the watch ready for every setting, from business meetings to holidays.
