Its 42 mm polished stainless steel case, with the crown at 12 o’clock and the articulated bow that protects it, carries Bovet’s historic watchmaking language into the present day. Within, the hand-wound 15BM04 manufacture calibre delivers a seven-day power reserve from a single barrel. The collection draws its inspiration from the last Bovet pocket watches before the wristwatch era and from the “easel” chronometer, patented in 1930, which symbolised the transition to the wristwatch. The 42 mm polished stainless steel case clearly reflects this heritage through the onion crown at 12 o’clock, a Fleurier signature, and the articulated bow that protects it. Roman numerals, polished steel poire hands and a gently domed sapphire crystal lend the dial a classical elegance.
At the heart of the watch beats the hand-wound 15BM04 calibre, developed and manufactured by Dimier, Bovet’s sister manufacture. Beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement draws a seven-day power reserve from a single barrel. Small seconds at 6 o’clock and a power-reserve indicator with blue accents form a balanced and legible composition on the dial. Côtes de Genève extending from the plates to the bridges, together with hand-executed bevelling, can be admired in every detail through the sapphire caseback.
