In this version, the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional interprets the legend of the watch that went to the Moon with the classic elegance of a leather strap. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the black step dial and applied Omega logo preserve the Speedmaster’s timeless face. The tachymeter bezel with its “dot over 90” detail and the 42 mm asymmetrical steel case also carry the legend’s signature. The black calfskin strap gives the watch a character that is both sporty and elegant. Visible through the transparent sapphire caseback, the manual-winding Master Chronometer calibre 3861 offers a 50-hour power reserve and magnetic resistance of 15,000 gauss.

After its birth in 1957, the Speedmaster passed NASA’s tests to become the official watch of the space programme. In 1969, it reached the Moon with Apollo 11 and earned the name “Moonwatch”. This leather-strap version unites the legend’s technical heritage with elegance. A symbol of space exploration, the watch sits just as naturally beneath the cuff of a suit on its black leather strap.
Measuring 42 mm in diameter and 13.18 mm in thickness, the asymmetrical 316L stainless steel case carries the Speedmaster’s renowned silhouette. The anodised aluminium bezel pays tribute to the historic model with its tachymeter scale and “dot over 90” detail. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside lie the black step dial and the applied Omega logo. Three subdials for small seconds, the 30-minute recorder and the 12-hour recorder offer a balanced and legible layout.
Through the transparent sapphire caseback, Omega’s manual-winding chronograph calibre 3861 is on display. Equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, a silicon balance spring and a free-sprung balance, the movement is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. It offers a 50-hour power reserve and magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss. The black calfskin strap and stainless steel foldover clasp give the watch a light and refined presence on the wrist. It is a timepiece in which every detail rests on a decision, and every second on a legacy.
