Ever since it reached James Bond’s wrist in GoldenEye in 1995, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M has been one of the most iconic watches in cinema. This special version celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Bond films. The laser-engraved wave pattern on the blue aluminium dial pays tribute to Bond’s first Diver 300M, while a “60” replaces the traditional inverted triangle on the diving scale. On the sapphire caseback, Bond’s legendary gun barrel opening sequence comes to life through a moiré animation driven by the movement of the seconds hand. The 42 mm steel case, steel mesh bracelet and calibre 8806, certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, complete this collector’s piece.

The most famous member of the Seamaster family, which has upheld its bond with the sea since 1948, the Diver 300M became James Bond’s watch in GoldenEye in 1995. Since then, the bond between Omega and 007 has grown into one of the longest-running partnerships in film history. This special version was designed for the 60th anniversary of the Bond films. As both a diving instrument and a collector’s piece, it brings the shared story of two legends to the wrist.
Measuring 42 mm in diameter and 14.26 mm in thickness, the 316L stainless steel case features a screw-in, self-locking crown and a helium escape valve. On the diving scale of the unidirectional rotating bezel, a commemorative “60” replaces the traditional inverted triangle. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside, the dial is crafted from oxalic anodised blue aluminium. Its laser-engraved wave pattern draws inspiration from the Diver 300M that Bond wore in GoldenEye. A lollipop seconds hand adds a nostalgic detail to the dial.
The watch’s most striking surprise lies on the caseback. The sapphire caseback, decorated with micro-structured metallisation, depicts the unforgettable opening sequence of the Bond films: the silhouette and the spinning gun barrel. As the seconds hand advances, a moiré animation brings this scene to life through the watch’s own movement. Behind this crystal runs Omega’s no-date automatic calibre 8806, featuring a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. Certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the calibre offers a 55-hour power reserve and magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss. The brushed steel mesh bracelet and steel foldover clasp, together with water resistance to 300 metres, make this collector’s piece wearable in every setting. The watch is presented in a special blue wooden box inspired by the three dots of the Bond opening. It is a timepiece in which every detail rests on a decision, and every second on a legacy.
