Seamaster Diver 300M

Born in 1948, the Seamaster is the symbol of Omega’s bond with the sea. Introduced for its 75th anniversary, the Summer Blue collection reinterprets this bond through the airy blue of summer seas. In this collection, the Diver 300M turns colour into a story: a dive that stretches from the light blue of the surface to the dark tones of the depths.

Measuring 42 mm in diameter and 13.49 mm in thickness, the 316L stainless steel case features a screw-in, self-locking crown and a helium escape valve. The diving scale on the unidirectional rotating blue ceramic bezel is crafted in “Summer Blue” with Grand Feu enamel, fired at high temperature. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, the PVD-treated ceramic dial symbolises a diver’s descent with its gradient that darkens from the centre towards the edges. The Diver 300M’s signature wave pattern accompanies this gradient. Rhodium-plated skeleton hands and raised indexes filled with light blue Super-LumiNova preserve the dial’s colour harmony even in the dark.

The commemorative emblem on the caseback depicts Poseidon holding his trident alongside two seahorses, uniting the original 1956 Seamaster logo with today’s design. Inside the case runs Omega’s automatic calibre 8800, featuring a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. Rhodium-plated and decorated with Geneva waves in arabesque, the movement is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. It offers a 55-hour power reserve and magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss. With its foldover clasp featuring a comfort setting and diver extension, the stainless steel bracelet is worn with equal ease over a wetsuit or beneath a shirt cuff.
