In this version, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M carries the series’ most recognised signature colour: orange. The polished orange ceramic bezel and the orange Arabic numerals on the dial provide both a powerful visual identity and high visibility in deep water against the matte black ground. The white hybrid ceramic diving scale and rhodium-plated hands filled with white Super-LumiNova bring clarity to this energetic composition. Measuring 42 mm in diameter and 13.79 mm in thickness, the polished and brushed 316L stainless steel case sits in balance on the wrist with a compact lug-to-lug measurement of 47.50 mm. The polished orange ceramic ring of the unidirectional rotating bezel bears a white hybrid ceramic diving scale, while the inner ring is crafted from polished grade 5 titanium. Beneath a flat sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, the matte black dial features white transferred wording and four orange Arabic numerals. Rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova blend with the bezel’s energetic colour, ensuring crisp reading in deep water and in the dark.
The screw-in, self-locking crown and the screw-in titanium caseback bearing the Omega seahorse emblem guarantee water resistance to 60 bar, or 600 metres. Inside the case runs Omega’s automatic calibre 8912, featuring a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance spring. The movement offers a 60-hour power reserve from two barrels mounted in series and is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. This certification also covers magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss. The time-zone function allows the hour hand to be adjusted without stopping the watch. The polished and brushed steel bracelet, with its foldover clasp featuring a comfort setting and diver extension, ensures a secure fit in every setting.
